OPUS Collections Inc. has learned of the existence of a website (www.opuscollections.com) that made unauthorized use of the Wintree and OPUS Fabric logo and the OPUS Collections Inc. name. This website and its publisher are unaffiliated with and have no connection to OPUS Collections Inc.. The use of the OPUS Collections Inc. name and trademarks occurred without our knowledge or consent, and steps have been taken to address this situation. Please be advised that OPUS Collections Inc. disclaims any responsibility and will not be liable for any damages or claims connected to this website or to any entity called "OPUS Collections and Stridum Venture."
Email Fraud Notice
Email fraud schemes are currently circulating on the Internet using our OPUS Collections and Stridum Venture name to solicit job applications or contract proposals, and require the victims to pay job-application or other processing fees. Sometimes, the scams take the form of telephone calls rather than emails. Certain versions of this scam are very sophisticated. Occasionally, a scammer will send a fake check for a large amount of money to the victim to cover the "processing fees." The scammer hopes the victim pays the fees before discovering that the check is fraudulent. If you do receive an unsolicited email offering you a job at OPUS Collections, this is a scam. Do not send any money.
The best way to be directly in contact with OPUS Collections HR department at [email protected] We will not ask for money for application or for any other type of fee. If your qualifications match the job requirements, a company HR department will be in touch.
This warning is issued to the general public as a public service to avoid scam and fraud.
